Sometimes in InDesign, you find yourself needing to duplicate pages for your project. Knowing how to copy pages is essential for part of your workflow.
Duplicating pages in InDesign is a great way for you to create multiple versions of a page so you can try and test out your designs. Follow these easy steps below as I show you how to duplicate pages in InDesign.
Open the Pages Panel in InDesign
Firstly, make sure that you have your project open in InDesign. To locate the Pages Panel, depending on the workspace layout you use it is often seen on the far right-hand side of the window as seen in the screenshot below.

If you can’t locate the pages panel on the screen, no problem I’ll show you where to find it. Go to the Window menu at the top of the screen and then click on Pages. This will then open up the Pages Panel on your screen.
Select the Pages or Spreads
Within the Pages Panel select the page(s) or spreads you want to duplicate in InDesign.
How to Duplicate Pages in InDesign
The easiest way to duplicate the pages for users on Windows is by right-clicking on the page(s) selected and clicking Duplicate Spread.
For Mac users, have your page(s) selected go to the Layout menu at the top and click Pages then Duplicate Spread.
How To Duplicate Multiple Pages in Indesign
If you want to duplicate multiple pages in InDesign, firstly, you’ll need to select multiple pages or spreads. To do this hold down Shift and select the multiple pages you want to duplicate.
